As a Laboratory Coordinator for our client, you will take responsibility for the operational day to day management of one or more laboratories in their modern space in Cambridge

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure the laboratory maintains its operational efficiency by liaising with facilities maintenance suppliers, planning maintenance schedules with mínimal impact to daily operations
- Leading on continuous improvement projects relating to equipment, policy, and people processes - striving for smooth and efficient ways of working
- Lead on processes to investigate deviations from SLA's by root cause analysis and reporting findings accurately
- Support the overall health and safety compliance strategy, PPE compliance, participating in service audits and supporting with COSH and risk assessment documentation

Experience Required
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment is essential
- Desirably, you will have been responsible for laboratory continuity procedures (stock ordering, equipment maintenance, managing external supplier relationships etc.)
- Fully computer literate, and competent with the use of various IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Preferably you will have a driving license due to the location (Granta Park)
