**Group HR Advisor**

**Salary: £32,500 - £40,000 (depending on experience)**

**Location: Marlow Head Office (3 days per week) & Coleshill/Birmingham DC (1-2 days per week)**

**Contract: Full-time & permanent**

**Reports Into: Group Finance Director, Brandpath, and separately Group Legal**

An opportunity has become available for a Group HR Advisor to join Brandpath and to become an integral part of the central team supporting a number of companies owned by Peter Jones CBE.

The Group HR Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR advice, support, and guidance to Brandpath and other businesses within the group/in which Peter Jones CBE has an interest. Reporting to Brandpath’s Group Finance Director (with a separate reporting line into Group Legal), this role will involve collaborating with directors, managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR services and initiatives that drive employee engagement, performance, and organisational success.

**Core Responsibilities Include**:

- ** HR Administration**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, personnel databases, and HR systems. Prepare HR reports and analytics as required. Liaise with payroll processing and administration.
- ** Provide HR Support** - Offer guidance and support to managers across the group, on various HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, benefits, and employee relations issues.
- ** Employee Relations**: Support managers to address employee concerns and complaints in a timely and confidential manner. Investigate employee relations issues, conduct fact-finding interviews, and recommend appropriate resolutions in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- ** Performance Management**: Support the performance management process by providing guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, and performance improvement plans. Assist with the administration of performance evaluations and documentation.
- ** Onboarding and Offboarding**: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation. Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and documentation.

**Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- ** Prior HR Advisor experience is essential.**:

- ** General HR Knowledge**: A solid practical/working understanding of fundamental HR principles, practices, and procedures, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
- ** HR Administration Skills**: Proficiency in HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing HR paperwork, managing HR systems, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. A keen eye for detail is crucial.
- ** Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders, and to convey HR information clearly and professionally.
- ** Adaptability and Flexibility**: The ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality of work.
