**Job Opportunity**
- Ensuring the SOC take lead on security incidents and provide end to end resolution. Providing equal levels of service across all site locations.
- Provide incident information, in a timely, accurate and professional manner to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for helping to achieve solutions and make positive change.
- Monitor SOC call management ensuring levels of service are industry leading.
- Identify short and long-term trends and take action to make progressive changes for the SOC and its customers.
- Liaise with the client on all technological issues within the SOC in a timely manner.
- Have operational knowledge of all the functions and equipment within the CCTV suite and Fire Control.
- Be responsible for achieving KPIs, ensuring all Operatives are managed to ensure outstanding performance and service.
- Conduct regular drills and scenario testing and carry-out team evaluation against relevant benchmarks.
- Train and educate the SOC team on all Standard Operational procedures relating to the SOC.
- Monitor all SIA compliance and ensure all SOC personnel are up to date.
- Conduct performance evaluations as well as monitor attendance and performance of each employee through 1 to 1s and performance management processes.
- To actively recognise outstanding achievements through Community Awards nominations.
- Actively participate in the recruitment process to maintain establishment levels.
- To ensure SOC Supervisors accurately record and manage overtime for your team and department.
- Be highly conversant in company policies and ensure implementation in relation to performance and absence.
- Ensure SOC supervisors manage sickness and absence from work including return to work and welfare support, be responsible for annual leave authorisation and planning of resources ensuring sufficient resilience.
- Develop team members through scheduled training, mentoring, coaching and performance management.
- Regularly review process and procedures to then streamline and future-proof across all the locations within the areas or responsibility (TOR)
- Have regular formal and informal liaison with clients/customers/stakeholders.
- Provide support to the Service Delivery Manger in achieving deliverables.
- Any other duties as directed in support of SOC work and objectives.

**Essential Skills**
- **Right to work in the UK, 5-year checkable history and pass a high level of security clearance.**:

- SIA & CCTV Licence.
- Have more than 3 years’ experience of working in a Control Room and Security environment (desirable).
- Understand change, capability, and knowledge management procedures (or be willing to work towards gaining such).
- Have a minimum teaching qualification of Award in L3 Education & Training (or, willing to work towards gaining such).
- Coordination, supervisory & leadership skills, demonstrating a coaching style.
- Understand Annual Training Directives and how they affect both individuals and groups.
