**Head of Supply Chain**

Based in Banbury with some travel to Shrewsbury and High Wycombe.

**Role Overview**:
Execute the strategy for the Supply Chain Team in line with the Group objectives, as well as offering development and direction to all team members. Manage and monitor supplier delivery performance and stock levels.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Manage the end-to-end supply chain function ensuring optimum success at every stage
- Ensure financial management control on functional and operational budgets, whilst maintaining product availability.
- Champion system (Winman (Enterprise Resource Planning)) and process improvements
- Liaise with, and advise Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective service and communication
- To lead, direct and take accountability for performance of team members
- Management and implementation of Winman Parameters:

- ROP
- MOQ
- Departments
- Ordering methods:

- Schedules for long lead time products - stock control master
- Overnight orders for standard products
- MRP driven order processing
- Inventory Control:

- Identify target inventory levels based on supplier lead times
- Identify target inventory levels by product type
- Forecast Inventory levels
- Lead Order Management:

- Ensure timely order placement
- Expediting/de-expediting
- Order confirmations and outstanding orders
- Stock returns
- Supplier Performance Management:

- Regular business review meetings
- Monthly performance review
- Working with supplier to improve on time delivery
- Non-conformance deliveries
- **Logistics Management**:

- Managing of all documentation
- Liaise with finance to ensure invoices are controlled and paid in a timely manner
- Control of archived documents for management and audit purposes
- Involved in supplier selection process for inbound freight

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous supply chain experience (Essential)
- Qualified, or working towards CIPS qualification - Level 4 minimum (Essential)
- Strong attention to detail and must have proven experience of working at a detailed level (Essential)
- Proven track record of growing and leading a team (Essential)
- Strong commercial and negotiating experience (Essential)
- Experience of designing, implementing and refining processes and policies (Essential)
- Possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, trouble shooting and strong team building skills (Essential)
- Ability to work well under pressure (Essential)
- Ability to influence positively at an executive stakeholder level (Essential)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) (Essential)
- Dealing with multiple geographical locations and languages (Desirable)
- Must be organised, efficient and work methodically (Essential)
- Industry knowledge/experience in the fastener market (Desirable)
- Valid and current driving licence (Essential)
- Valid and current passport - with no exclusions on overseas travel (Essential)
