Salary – up to 67,000 DOE

Banbury 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Purpose of the Supply Chain Manager role:

To manage the department to ensure customer expectations are met whilst achieving all corporate standards, and key performance indicators along with optimising the supply chain operations to achieve cost effective, safe, and sustainable solutions.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager

  • an objective overview for the whole of the Supply Chain, assisting in the resolution of problems, and prioritizing orders and materials to achieve the best order date without incurring excessive cleanouts or transport charges
  • MOQ’s with the purchasing department to ensure they are matching current demand whilst keeping working capital to a minimum.
  • provide planning and scheduling policies to ensure optimum use of factory capacities
  • with and support the Inventory Controller in assessing new launches and product delists, highlighting
  • and develop the staff through periodic reviews.
  • one-to-one support continuously for potential supply issues or redundant finished goods stock to the relevant departments.
  • a thorough understanding of all audit standards and expectations exist at all levels


Experience/knowledge requirements for the Supply Chain Manager

  • of managing Supply Chain processes within a manufacturing organization.
  • of managing and developing ERP systems.
  • proven track record of managing a successful department through supporting managers.
  • confident leader, and self-starter with excellent communication and management skills.
  • user of all Microsoft packages in particular excel.
  • analytical skills and the ability to confidently interrogate data.
