**The role**

We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a **Resident Liaison Officer** to join our dedicated Direct Services Team. You’ll be the main point of contact for residents in the delivery of estate services, planned re-investment and maintenance works and projects. You’ll confidently liaise with residents in the shaping of services and identifying their requirements, while managing complaints and analysing customer satisfaction and feedback.

This role is being offered on a 7-month fixed term contract / secondment working 35 hours per week. You’ll be given the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week, and the remaining days from our Croydon office.

**What you’ll have**
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in written reports.
- The ability to communicate answers and solutions confidently to customers/colleagues face to face, by phone and by writing in customer friendly language.
- The ability to establish appropriate working relationships with contractors and other staff.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to be persuasive and diplomatic while remaining independent.
- The ability to empathise with customers and listen carefully.
- The ability to manage a flexible and demanding workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
