The Organic Pantry is an award-winning online food retailer and food manufacturer looking for a Team Leader to run a small food production unit and help the business produce outstanding cold-pressed juices, soups, and prepped vegetables.

This is a great starter position for someone with ambitions to go into management. External management training and food hygiene training available. The role is also suitable for a more experienced operative to bring their experience and knowledge into the business. Progression is available if desired, either into management/operations into assisting/managing food safety, or both.

This role is available as a full-time role, or there is an option to make it a 4 day week dropping Wednesday.

This a thriving fast-moving, growing part of the business and needs the right person with a can do attitude to push it forward.

Responsibilities and Duties.
- Coordinating a small team of colleagues to ensure they consistently deliver outstanding results whilst enjoying the workplace.
- Operating food machinery, this includes a large cold-pressed juicer and a potato peeling line as well as cooking equipment.
- Packing and readying orders, once orders are made, they need labelling and prepping for dispatch.
- Working with management to monitor team performance and provide feedback where necessary.
- Leasing with customers, taking orders and processing orders.
- Making sure the team always adhere to health & safety and food safety policies, filling in the appropriate paperwork, doing the required food safety checks and wearing the correct PPE.
- The role is available as a 4-day week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If Wednesday is desirable, it can be arranged although to begin with it will not be in the production unit. Tuesday will not be in the production unit to start with but a Tuesday Shift will start in the next few months.
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director.

- The length of the day will vary depending on the size of the orders.
- Working in a high care unit, wearing the correct PPE.

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
