**Passenger Operations Support**

The Passenger Operations team provides the operational delivery of key elements of the passenger journey, commercial management of service contracts, and delivering our vision for customer experience

**What is the role?**

The Passenger Ops Support team carry out passenger facing tasks, providing information, assistance and first response to incidents and accidents throughout landside and airside internal areas, and ensuring that passenger interests are their highest priority. They work under the guidance of the Passenger Operations Manager team and can be tasked with responding to anything from a flight time enquiry to a high priority first aid call.

**What will you do?**
- Provide assistance and information for passengers throughout the airport, utilising language skills as well as customer service skills and airport knowledge.
- Responsible for passenger safety and well-being, monitoring passenger flow and managing areas to reduce congestion through pro-active measures.
- Provide information and support to the Passenger Operations Manager team to support any noted issues and operate under the direction of the Passenger Operations Manager to carry out any tasks to support operational requirements.
- Responsible for documented inspections of designated areas, conducting audits with 3rd parties and responding to faults with any passenger facing equipment, recording outcomes where appropriate.

- Excellent people skills to deliver great service both directly and through third parties
- Strong communication skills with the ability to flex style dependant on different types of situations
- Able to remain calm in difficult circumstances, dealing with situations potentially involving traumatic events as well as major disruption
- Resilience to deal with challenging and complex situations in lone working situations with limited support
- Intermediate IT skills and knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel)
- Have a broad and deep knowledge of the Terminal layout and operation from airport, handler, airline and control authority perspective.
