We are seeking a Senior Learning & Development Consultant on a 12 months FTC basis.

The role holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of Leadership, Management and Coaching training programmes and blended learning interventions, ensuring learners are equipped to meet the requirements of the business.

The Senior L&D Consultant will have responsibilities for a team of direct reports, overseeing the design and delivery of a range of high-quality learning programmes and interventions to meet business needs and to comply with relevant governance, quality assurance and evaluation practices.

The role holder will be required to work across Health & Welfare (H&W) as well as Capita Public Service (CPS) on business-wide change initiatives impacting our Leaders, Managers and Coaches and to plan and lead on these initiatives on behalf of the L&D team.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead and manage a team of L&D Consultants
- To consult with and work collaboratively with business leaders and senior managers to assess individual and team performance needs and identify solutions that will increase managerial and leadership effectiveness
- To conduct an annual Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) with managers and formulate training plans based on needs
- To design, deliver and evaluate programmes of learning for Leaders, Managers and Coaches, and advise of L&D best practices
- To work with key stakeholders to lead and support projects which meet the People Development initiatives and represent L&D at business-critical meetings internally and externally, as appropriate
- To produce reports, resource, and budget information to support L&D reporting requirements
- Ensure Leadership, Management and Coaching Training programmes and resources are up-to-date and fit for purpose
- Develop, implement, and manage the quality assurance and evaluation processes to ensure a high standard of delivery from L&D Consultants including sign-offs, course satisfaction scores, observations, audit reviews and managing complaints and queries
- Gather relevant management information to assist with business and contractual reporting
- Develop and maintain a Leadership, Management & Coaching (LM&C) schedule, ensuring that resources are effectively planned and aligned with the Master Schedule
- To lead on apprenticeships across a number of H&W contracts to encourage uptake
- Adhere to the company Security Policy and resolve any breaches accordingly
- Take responsibility for Health & Safety in the workplace, identifying, acting upon and where appropriate escalating any risks
- Abide by all Capita and Local Security Policies and Procedures

**What we're looking for**:

- Proven people management experience
- Stakeholder management skills
- Ownership of Leadership, Management & Coaching (LM&C) design, delivery, resource management, change initiatives and associated L&D activities
- Operational and project management of LM&C Training activities
- Ensures appropriate reporting is in place through the use of management information
- Compliance with all Health and Safety policies
- Supports Capita Public Services with operational led initiatives, as required
- Champion employee engagement, focusing on improved eNPS scores, and lead on social responsibility initiatives
