We are currently recruiting an Employee Relations Manager to work within Employability and Careers & UK Education.

**Salary**: Circa £40,000 per annum

**Location**: Gateshead or Sheffield (office & remote based)

The Employee Relations Manager role purpose is to contribute to the continual improvement and innovation of people strategies, supporting key projects and employee cases.

Reporting to the Employability and Careers People Development Manager and working alongside our corporate Strategic HR Business Partners, the role holder will ensure that all potential employee relations (ER) cases are investigated appropriately and in accordancewith employment legislation and best practice, using our internal and external legal advisers as required.

Contribute to continuous development by undertaking or supporting cross functional people projects with relevant support from across the organisation to support a positive ethos and culture.

We are seeking professionals with significant experience of managing complex employee relations cases and evidence of providing expert employee relations advice to Stakeholders. Experience of measuring and evaluating HR metrics particularly in relation toemployee relations as well working across multiple disciplines is essential.

**Assessment Centre will take place on 16th June in Newcastle**, **a venue to be confirmed.**

**Interviews**:Interviews may be held directly after assessment centre or at one of our regional offices (where appropriate virtual Interviews will be considered using Microsoft Teams).
