We are working with a leading company in the property sector, who are looking to employ a Front of House Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a completely office-based role and you’ll therefore be required to travel to their Birmingham based office. This role focuses on providing national switchboard cover and providing administrative office support to employees.

Key Responsibilities as Front of House Assistant
- Working alongside the Front of House Manager to ensure the delivery of an efficient, professional meeting and events service within the Birmingham office.
- Providing support when required on meeting days and ensuring local and large-scale meeting regulations are adhered to.
- Greeting clients and employees into the office by providing a warm and professional welcome.
- General administrations duties to support the Front of House Manager and Office Manager, as well as Ad hoc administration during busy periods.
- Maintaining cleanliness of meeting rooms, reception and hub areas and ensuring sufficient kitchen supplies for staff and visitors.
- Managing bookings and preparing for meeting spaces and organising provision of refreshments.
- Working with two full-time switchboard operators to assist in answering calls into the national switchboard using a Mitel terminal, taking accurate messages if required, answering and placing calls accurately.
- Act as a Fire Warden, First Aider/Nominated Person.

To be considered for the role of Front of House Assistant you will require:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A hands-on, adaptable attitude.
- The ability to be a team player.
- A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills with experience in MS Word and Excel.
- Good organisational skills, with a good attention to detail.

To be considered for the top bracket of salary, you will require front of house and administration experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
