**Hours**: Average commitment is the equivalent of four days per week

**Remuneration**: Salary reimbursable to employing trust/organisation. Midpoint of Specialist Registrar grade or match current basic pay scale

**Location**: Applicants will need to be based within the UK and will be expected to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the role. Much of the post holder’s work may be delivered from their own location remotely with occasional meetings in London and Liverpool.

**Overview**

Join the Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy (JAG) as a clinical fellow

JAG are looking for an individual to take up the exciting role of JAG clinical fellow. They will join the team and work with the research lead across both accreditation and training and data.

The appointees will have the opportunity to shape this high impact role and to ensure JAG continue to utilise our rich datasets to produce excellent publications. You can see examples of recent work by the current JAG clinical fellow on the JAG website.

The JAG clinical fellow will be responsible for:

- co-ordinating, analysing and publishing a variety of research projects. It is anticipated that this body of work would form the basis of a higher degree (e.g. MD).
- Contributing to JAG projects to support team to make data led decisions.
- Supporting the development of a team of trainees

The appointment will be for two years, with progression to year 2 on agreement of JAG based on satisfactory performance in year 1. A full time salary is available on the Specialty Registrar (SPR) scale, pro rated. Applicants would be considered from those wishing to undertake role on a part time basis.
