**What this job involves**:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Facilities Apprentice in our London offices. As a Facilities Apprentice at JLL, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in supporting the day-to-day operations of our client's facilities. This role is designed for individuals who are looking to kick-start their career in facilities management and gain valuable industry knowledge across some incredible buildings in London. You will also work towards a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative qualification.
**What your day-to-day will look like**:
**Facility Maintenance**: Assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting repairs, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
**Workplace Support**: Provide support to the onsite facilities team by assisting with work orders, conducting workspace setups, managing office equipment inventory, and supporting employee moves.
**Event and Vendor Management**: Collaborate with the events team to help set up and dismantle event spaces. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
**Health and Safety Compliance**: Assist in monitoring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, conducting inspections, and reporting any issues or hazards to the appropriate stakeholders.
**Administrative Tasks**: Support the facilities team with various administrative duties, such as maintaining records, organizing meetings, and assisting with budget tracking.
**Front of House**: Support the front of house team by delivering exceptional service to employees and guests.
**Sustainability Initiatives**: Support the facilities team in implementing and promoting sustainable practices within our client's premises, including waste management and energy-saving initiatives.
**Professional Development**: Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth by actively participating in training programs, workshops, and industry-related events.
