**About the role**

Building on our continued success, we are creating an experienced team for a suite of major rail projects in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.

In this role we are looking for a Rail Operations professional to provide operational, maintenance and asset management advisory services. This will involve:

- Assisting in leading and managing the project teams in the preparation and submission of key deliverables and tasks which might include service delivery plans, CONOPS, maintenance concepts, technical papers, KPI regimes, customer service plans and operational readiness plans.
- Acting as an interface in the delivery of services and resolution of project issues.
- Collaborating with other project team members in a proactive and engaging way, ensuring that members adhere to the client’s values, systems, and requirements.
**Job Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Significant experience in the preparation of rail operational planning documents and operations concepts for major rail projects.
- Working knowledge of current best practice in rail operations control and associated systems
- Demonstrated train operations planning for Normal, Degraded and Emergency modes
- Working knowledge of current best practice in rail operations control and associated systems.
- Proven experience in planning the Integration of new rail services to an existing network.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning the integration and delivery of rail networks with multi-modal interchanges.
- Experience in either major network line speed improvement programmes or development of new high speed lines will be highly desirable.
- Experience in delivery of operational readiness of Rail Systems in large scale rail infrastructure projects.
- Highly developed report writing and communication.
- Understanding of working to delivery budgets.
