We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual looking to begin their career in administration in the NHS. This role is seeking an apprentice to support the Corporate Governance Office in an administrative capacity.

The post holder will work alongside the team providing support in a range of administrative duties including sorting mail, answering telephone enquiries, managing general enquiries, some minute taking and meeting organisation and general office duties.

The post holder will be supported to develop lots of new skills including; prioritisation, attention to detail, using your own initiative, team working, communication skills and the ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment.

You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with good organisational skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will present a professional and polite attitude at all times.

You will learn and develop skills using Microsoft Office and NHS systems.

Working as part of a team, you will support the Corporate Governance Team in the provision of a high quality administrative service. Key duties will include; providing general office and administrative support to the Corporate Governance team, providing PA support to the Chief Executive, Chairman and Director of Corporate Governance/Associate Director of Corporate Governance as required, supporting diary Management, administrative tasks, note-taking, planning and organising meetings, including room bookings, ordering refreshments and managing room layouts, and support with organising, preparing and distributing meeting papers.
