**The Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Governance Officer to join our Mutuals Team in order to help support the compliance and governance within our Mutual Retirement Living Schemes.

Please note: We have two roles availble - one is a permanent, full-time position and the other is a Fixed-Term Contract until September 2024.

Reporting to the Head of Mutuals, you’ll be involved in reviewing financial accounts and presenting them appropriately to our residents. You’ll be integral in arranging and conducting annual and special general meetings and transacting any governance issues in line with the mutual’s rules and any statute/regulations. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the mutual’s committee to foster collaborative working relationships to ensure that our mutual schemes are run effectively and demonstrate good governance.

Your base location will be our central Birmingham office however you will be required to travel across the Midland Heart geography which includes the East and West Midlands.
