The Role:

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will:

  • Ensure UK GDPR, PECR and BCBS239 compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvements and maximise the income and benefit of available data and increasing confidence and consistency in the quality of data.
  • This role will report into the Head of Data, part of the first line of defence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data governance documentation and reviews.
  • Support root cause analysis for data quality incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Provide UK GDPR advice and support.
  • Enhance data governance awareness.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience working within a data governance or protection setting.
  • Knowledge of data related regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
  • Self-motivated & ability to take initiative.
  • Specific awareness of Data Protection Regulations (Desirable)
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
