This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading clinical research organisation within a team of knowledgeable and motivated clinical professionals based in a GP Surgery.

Key Responsibilities of the **Administrator - Clinical Research** will include;
- Provide receptionist and administrative duties for arriving volunteers (patients), including meeting and greeting, booking of appointments.
- Co-ordinate volunteer updates, including ensuring case notes and other associated documents are reviewed and tracked and then filed correctly.
- Accurate completion of Case Report Forms (CRF's) and other data points as required.
- Deal with queries, filing, database entry and general correspondence, quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to GCP and best practice always in accordance to internal policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Study Protocols.
- Assist with the daily management of the clinical area (preparing for visits).
- Performing searches using the exclusion/inclusion criteria's provided by the clinical trial teams.
- Develop the website, updating it with current studies and practice related research news. Also using newsletters and social media to promote studies and the practice research profile.
- To arrange/attend meetings and take minutes.
- To promote research in the practice and support colleagues when needed with recruitment.
- Flexibility maybe required for covering cluster research practices.

To be considered for the **Administrator - Clinical Research** role you'll need the following skills and experience;
- Experience within administration / documentation.
- Demonstrated, excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A good understanding of UK healthcare practices, including GCP would be advantageous.
- Ability to listen, clarify, identify solutions and agree actions.
- Strong IT skills (Word and Excel or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and within the team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic and studies.
- Previous experience working within a hospital/primary care setting, in clinical research or knowledge of Clinical Trials, would be an advantage.
