**About the Role**

As part of a brand-new team setting out to deliver this new and exciting residential service for women and their children from Hampshire, you will be providing essential administrative support to the central services team, the finance team and the Head ofPeople and Culture.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all day-to-day administrative tasks are completed within agreed timescales, including typing letters and minutes of meetings, photocopying any required documentation for meetings, training events and other events, and managing internal and externalpost.
- Support the Head of People and Culture with the administration functions involved in recruiting and onboarding new staff team members.
- Assist with the production of publicity materials and provide administrative support for training events and all local fundraising activities and events.
- Providing Finance Administration support to the Finance Manager and general administration to the wider Hope Street team; ensuring that all office consumables and equipment are replenished as needed and maintain a register of stationery and other officeconsumables.
- Follow all data protection guidance to ensure that information governance management complies with legal requirements.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Essential Experience**
- Working in a busy office environment, providing a wide range of administrative support functions including finance administration and HR administration.
- Using Microsoft programmes, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Using and creating databases and spreadsheets.
- Using Case Management Systems for data and outcome recording.

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Excellent IT skills, particularly when it comes to databases, spreadsheets and case management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise activities and responses in order of importance.
- Understanding of trauma and its long-term effects on a person’s behaviours, self-esteem, confidence, and ability to trust others.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 to ensure the appropriate management of personal and sensitive personal data.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to support the team to ensure that health and safety management within the Hub and the residential accommodation complies with all relevant legislation.
