Quality Performance and Service Officer

The purpose of the post is to deliver environmental in-house audits and data capture in accordance with the National Cleaning Standards in NHS. The audit process will highlight all areas of responsibility where cleaning standards are not met.
**Summary of the Role**:
To provide quality and performance monitoring of Facilities Management and Building Services functions as required, ensuring the effective delivery of associated services.
To monitor all associated functions within agreed structures and timescales and provide assistance in the effective delivery of Facilities Management services
The post holder will undertake surveys, inspections and monitoring of services to identify areas on non compliance, with agreed standards and detail any associated risks.
Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions Ltd (CHS) provides estates, facilities and procurement services to our partner organisation Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) and other customers. - In conjunction with the line manager, manage own workload, planning and organising own time and prioritising work, both on a day to day basis and longer term
- Establish planned and unannounced service performance monitoring and audits and agree reporting arrangements accordingly
- Report service failures to the appropriate officer in accordance with agreed processes, contract specifications and SLA's
- Respond to service delivery issues
- Provide monthly performance reports for all Facilities Management functions. Collate, arrange and deliver performance information. Produce and deliver verbal and written reports to Senior Management.
- Undertake surveys/audits as necessary to manage performance.
- To ensure all work allocated is undertaken and completed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Prioritising completing work areas effectively and with regard to appropriate deadlines within a managed framework.
- To liaise with multidisciplinary staff as appropriate to develop and maintain good working relationships and to ensure effective communication takes place at all times.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Assist in the development and delivery of appropriate work schedules, frequencies and programs to ensure services meet customer and service expectations.
- Communication both written and verbal, to all levels of staff.
- Provide written and electronic reports relating to the performance of Estates and Facilities Services, including Acre Mills site.
- Liaise with relevant staff to discuss and agree actions resulting from audit related activities / failures.
- Ensure a partnership approach is adopted to build working relationships with clinical / non clinical colleagues.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure complaints, interruptions or service emergencies are dealt with effciently and effectively.
- Undertake training as required to fulfil the responsibilities for the Quality Performance and Service Officer, as agreed by the Facilities Manager.
- Resolving operational quality performance and service related problems using own knowledge and experience.
- Ensure all mandatory training is updated according to policy.
- As directed by the Facilities Manager, interpret data and information related to the operational delivery of Facilities Services.
- Maintain systems for monitoring internal processes and service requirements.
- Ensure all technical information received or developed is disseminated to the appropriate officer in a suitable format in order to fully understand the content and any possible implications it may have.
- Ensure all Facilities Services and works are responded to in an effective and timely manner to maintain a suitable patient environment.
- Undertake all such reasonable other duties duties as may be required as part of the role.
