Operations Administrator

My client is looking for a personable and hardworking Administrator to join their Operations team for a 6-month maternity cover. They are a metals trading company based in the heart of the West End. They have another office regionally in the UK and the team in London is small and close-knit.
They offer hybrid working, with 1 day wfh, the hours are 9am-5.15pm and the salary is offering between £30k-£32k per annum.
This is for an immediate start - they are looking to interview quickly and for someone to hit the ground running.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and produce documentation and update filing systems
- Assist with invoicing and drafting of sales contracts
- Updating Excel spreadsheets and in-house software system - using formulas in Excel
- Assist with credit control and making payments
- Assist the logistics team in managing the back office operations
- Monitor and replenish stationery stocks when required
- Ad hoc administrative duties
Who you are:
- Previous experience in an administrative position, 1-2 years+
- Highly proficient and confident using Excel - must be able to confidently use formulas
- Professional, friendly, team player
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
- Background working in commodities is an advantage
