We have created a brand new role to support the Risk & Payroll Manager here at CtM, a Senior Payroll Administrator. This role will ensure smooth and efficient running of the payroll function through timely and accurate processing of payroll to schedule, the submission and payment of monthly and annual fees to HMRC within current control matrices. A very important task and role Working within a fantastic HR function, which is full of uplifting, driven and capable professionals, we still manage to weave in furry fun to our days

You’ll ideally have:

- Experience of reconciling payroll through to production of BACS
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and liaise with different key stakeholders at different levels of the organisation
- Good knowledge and understanding of GDPR understanding of regulatory & legislative frameworks surrounding payroll

Responsibilities include:

- Oversight of the payroll inputs managed within the offshore team to ensure these are timely and accurate, escalating when required to the Risk & Payroll Manager
- Running the payroll in a controlled, timely manner from end to end, adhering to documented processes
- Completion of the reconciliations and reporting as part of the payroll cycle for Finance and Benefit providers
- Oversight of the Payroll & Benefits query management to ensure prompt and accurate replies within the defined SLA. Also, the escalation point for queries that cannot be managed by the offshore team relating to payroll and benefits
- Supports the annual payroll processing such as P60’s, P11Ds and start of year/end of year
- Pro-actively manage CtM’s payroll risks and controls in line with risk appetite to ensure risk mitigation of payroll administration
- Supports other HR/Regulatory projects or initiatives as required
- Develops and maintain strong relationships with operational areas, communicating with customers and stakeholders effectively and drive the self-service agenda
