**More about the role**: Your main duties and responsibilities include:

- Working in a team producing high end and high-quality food
- Developing and supporting team members
- Supporting in the creation of exciting menu concepts
- Adhere to H&S and F&H standards
- Deputise in the Head Chefs absence
- Catering for staff daily
- Great customer service skills
- Knowledge of the Hospitality industry
- Ideally, you will have NVQ level 1 or 2 in food preparation and cooking or equivalent
- Proven experience as a chef
- Hold a basic food hygiene certificate
- A team player
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Have a ‘Can-Do’ approach
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Guidelines.

City Social is operated by Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Jason Atherton, in partnership with Restaurant Associates. The restaurant is situated on level twenty-four of Tower 42, the iconic skyscraper situated in the heart of the City of London. CitySocial is a restaurant featuring art deco-style interiors against the backdrop of the stunning London skyline. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at City Social, a contemporary Michelin-starred Restaurant located on level twenty-four of Tower 42, in the heart of the City of London.

As our Pastry Sous Chef, you will have a range of duties, including administrative, leadership and practical tasks. Your primary function is to ensure that the bar runs efficiently and that the customer has the best possible experience. You are also responsiblefor the success and development of your staff.
