We are currently seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Sous Chef to join their renowned culinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head Pastry Chef to oversee the pastry kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation are consistently maintained.
  • Lead and inspire a team of pastry chefs, providing guidance and support to foster creativity and excellence in pastry production.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative dessert menus and pastry offerings, showcasing your culinary creativity and expertise.
  • Ensure efficient and organized pastry operations, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment.
  • Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and sanitary pastry kitchen environment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or senior pastry position in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or private members club.
  • Exceptional pastry skills and a passion for creating exquisite desserts and pastries.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve culinary excellence.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
