Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a Exams Coordinator on behalf of an Educational establishment within the People Operations Administrator on behalf of an Educational establishment within the Bootle area

Fixed Term contract - 12 months (with a view to go permanent)

**Salary**:£20,896- £23,148pa**

Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.

**The person & qualifications**
- A relevant qualification at level 3 or above.
- GCSE Maths and English at grade A*-C/4+, or recognised equivalent, or to attain within the probationary period.
- A good working knowledge of the education sector.
- Experience of conducting examinations and assessments in a busy working environment (desired)
- Knowledge of and experience with working with awarding body systems and platforms.

**Duties**
- To be the point of contact/deputise in the absence of the Examinations Manager tosupport with inspections and the day-to day operational concerns
- To maintain and develop systems to manage and coordinate all aspects of the exams administration process.
- To ensure the timely registration of students onto their qualifications with the appropriate awarding bodies, adhering to all deadline dates.
- To share with managers and teachers all aspects of the examinations cycle, providing updates throughout the academic year, as required by awarding bodies.
- To communicate clear internal deadlines and processes for gathering/sharing exam-related information from/with managers and teachers.
- To be responsible for the security, storage and distribution of examination/assessment materials in accordance with awarding body regulations, including the management of external examinations.
- To fully co-operate with JCQ and awarding body inspections of examinations provision, including access arrangements (in conjunction with the Head of Learning Support).
- To ensure that examinations have appropriate accommodation and are facilitated by suitably trained invigilators.
- To respond to queries relating to examination results.
