Key responsibilities

The role provides administrative support to the operations team in the assessment unit, primarily as part of the examiner services team. This team oversees examiner and exam centre involvement and strives to ensure all parts of examiner involvement in RCP exams is managed and supported appropriately. The role holder will also work with other exams administrators and coordinators to deliver online and clinical examinations on behalf of the RCP. The role holder will provide customer service and administrative support to examiners and exam centres along with candidates and partners throughout the exam process. The role holder will develop close working relationships with examiners, examination centres and internal stakeholders to support the planning and delivery of high stakes assessments for clinicians from a variety of disciplines at The Spine and across the UK. The role holder will deliver an excellent service to all stakeholders through effective communication by phone, email and in person. This is a fast paced and dynamic environment and the person appointed will be expected to be flexible, resilient and be able to cope with the demands of the role.

About you

We are looking to recruit a flexible, resilient, and motivated individual who is able to cope with the demands of the role.

Our ideal candidate will be educated to A-Level or equivalent with experience of delivering strong customer service with effective written and verbal communication skills as well as being able to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Experience of working with volunteers is desirable as is someone who has worked in an education or clinical setting.
