Administration Co-ordinator, Band 3 (22.5 hours a week)
To assist the ED Administration Manager to ensure that the Emergency Department operate an effective Reception/Administration Service.
To assist the ED Administration Manager with all associated administrative work, including line management of Receptionists, rota management, pay returns, annual leave/sickness, recruitment, appraisals

To assist the ED Administration Manager on a day to day basis
Line manage a small group of Receptionists
Rota management
Assist in the completion of monthly timesheets and process pay returns
Monitor and assist annual leave requests and sickness absences and conduct return to work interviews
Conduct appraisals
Assist with recruitment and selection process for Receptionists
To assist in training newly appointed staff and provide knowledge and support for staff and colleagues to enable them to perform their own roles to maximum effect
To work with the ED Administration Manager to develop and implement local policies/processes
Attend meetings as and when required to do so
Liaise with other departments regarding retrieval of ED documentation. Respond to general enquiries received from various sources
To help with the dissemination of information for staff
The post holder will assume responsibility for undertaking tasks delegated by the nominated line manager
