**What we do**:
The Business Change Group (BC) is responsible for the oversight and management of all major projects within the firm including business and operational re-engineering; regulatory, legal and risk projects; client and product development; business driven ITchange.

Each project is run against a business case and is sponsored at Director / MD level within the organisation.The department has a core team covering PM, BA, PMO and QA skillset and supports a business requirement to build efficiencies within our processes,and to professionally manage and deliver internal projects.

This is a hand on Senior PMO Manager role working within a major financial services organisation, with the task of running and continually improving a PMO office.

They will have demonstrable PMO management skills, and act as the bridge between the project delivery team and the business.They will create the project management standards and measure against these, own and run the project reporting for management reviewand facilitate the departmental portfolio management processes (e.g., resource allocation & prioritisation).

- _Set the standards for how projects are run including governance tools & templates._

- _Ensure project management standards are adhered to. Develop and maintain a set of KPI’s and report against these. _

- _Production of portfolio wide project reporting & dashboards for senior management review._
- _
- _Create run & maintain the portfolio management processes including resource allocation, budget tracking and prioritisation._
- _
- _Be a centre of excellence for project management, provide coaching & guidance to the project management community. _
- _
- _Provide Programme Level PMO services to strategic programmes including the set up and running of programme plans, governance & reporting, risk & issue management, budget tracking and programme reporting packs. _

- _Lead a team of PMO analysts. _

**Experience & Qualifications**:
**_Required _**
- _
- _Proven track record in PMO management._
- _
- _Ability to build a common set of practices, principles, and templates for managing projects. _
- _
- _Ability to set up metrics that measure project performance and report against these to ensure all projects adhere to the company’s baselined Quality Governance process guidelines._
- _
- _Support & assess project and programme business cases._
- _
- _Prepare, analyse, and produce enterprise-wide reports and dashboards to the senior management team of key information (Budget tracking, Progress against Plan, Risk, and Issues)._
- _
- _Set up run & continually improve PMO processes including project prioritisation, resource allocation & tracking, departmental budget management and quarterly budgeting process. _
- _
- _Use a variety of techniques to facilitate improvements to the project conduct & management process, including guidance, individual coaching, and team-based training sessions. _
- _
- _Conduct project audits. _
- _
- _Programme PMO skills including set up and maintenance of governance, and project management artefacts for large programmes ($15m+)._
- _
- _Leadership skills and experience, both within a project structure and line managing teams._
- _
- _Effective communication skills when dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation including the delivery of presentations to audiences of varied sizes. _
- _
- _Ability to multi-task, working alone, and as part of a team._

- _Working experience and solid of knowledge of various SDLCmethodologies (waterfall, RUP, iterative, scrum and agile)._

- _Experience with programme coordination across IT suppliers, including risk, quality, change management, schedule, and financial management._
- _
- _Track record in leading the implementation of agile development is preferred._
- _
- _Experience of annual budget and planning round._
