- This is a remote based role but will require some office attendance (possibly once a week) and this will be based on business needs. Attendance could be to our Manchester, London, Croydon or Colchester offices. It is possible we could consider otheroffice locations._

**Purpose of the Role**

This exciting remote based Head of Digital Experience opportunity has arisen to join our Digital team to provide direction, strategy and vision on digital experience to ensure as a business we can deliver on our group growth targets.

This role will be to build and embed a culture of value through digital experience by ensuring the customer is at the heart of all we do. You will need to create a digital experience vision and build robust processes to deliver change and results. We area traditional business and you will be bringing value by adding a 'tech’ layer.

**What you will do**

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

- Provide digital experience vision, direction and strategy to the digital team and stakeholders to meet group growth targets.
- Direct the strategic development of, and establish a clear vision for, the company's websites and digital products.
- Manage the Digital Estate to ensure value and risk are balanced.
- Establish and be an engaged part of the Technical Design Authority (TDA) and embed processes across the organisation to add control and best practice.
- Lead the digital experience team to understand and define customer requirements for a digital roadmap.
- Define digital product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities, leading to the prioritisation of digital product & UX feature backlog.
- Create UX & Design capability.
- Build delivery capability and processes.
- Manage the health of the website ensuring we are following best practise guidelines.
- Create robust testing capability to ensure availability of the site and key functions.
- Understand the data and create a testing and optimising roadmap to verify or invalidate hypothesis to increase ROI and maximise profitability.
- Manage and optimise external digital agency relationships.

**Who we are looking for**

This is an opportunity for an experienced Digital Experience Leader with managerial experience, ideally from a financial services environment, who is willing to work as part of a team and manage stakeholders at all levels. We are looking for someone has:

- In-depth knowledge of digital experience strategy including UX, product ownership, conversion Optimisation and analytical processes.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile process and principles.
- Thorough knowledge of user research techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of user experience tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of UX techniques
- Strong project manager with a technical understanding and evidence of how to deliver change.
