We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an exceptional coordinator to join our Workforce Services Team based at St Richards Hospital.

We are looking for an experienced coordinator to join our friendly workforce services team at St. Richards Hospital in Chichester. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate great customer service, possess good general IT skills and be capable of completing work accurately. The Workforce Services team are responsible for maintaining our HR system with accurate staff information and providing support to managers and staff regarding employee records. The team also provide administrative services relating to reference requests and other HR processes for example changes to terms and conditions, leavers, starters, and promotions.

The role is based in our office at St Richards Hospital working a rota pattern of Monday to Friday.

The Workforce Compliance Coordinator has a key role ensuring that our workforce has the right to live and work in the United Kingdom and that eligible staff have the appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in place. They have expert knowledge of the immigration and visa system and associated processes and support staff and managers with visa renewals. In addition, the post holder will process DBS renewals where required for eligible staff groups.

The Workforce Compliance Coordinator will also act as a point of escalation for non-routine staff changes on the Electronic Staff Records (ESR) System. The post holder will support on complex and contentious issues relating to pay in accordance with agenda for change terms and conditions.

The role is wide and varied supporting all non-medical staff and managers within the Trust and will give the successful applicant extensive knowledge and skill in the use of the national ESR system, understanding of the national Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions and service, exposure to pensions and retirement rules for AfC staff and training in the management of ESR Self Service accounts. - Run reports to identify staff who require visa renewal on a frequent and agreed basis and follow up with the appropriate line manager and employee.
- Run reports to identify staff who require DBS renewal on a frequent and agreed basis and follow up with the appropriate line manager and employee.
- Ensure that there is appropriate evidence held electronically to evidence ongoing right to work for example, Biometric Residence Permit and/or evidence of indefinite right to remain in the United Kingdom.
- Escalate areas of non-compliance using the agreed process related to DBS and right to work compliance.
- Maintain the ESR system ensuring accurate records for staff.
