**Let’s get to the detail shall we?**

As a Venue Stocks Assistant, it is your role to be an efficient and effective member of the management support team. Supporting Duty Managers to deliver operational excellence through training and developing a strong bar team, ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety, handling customer enquiries and complaints. Oversees the acceptance of deliveries and storage of these to comply with company standards whilst at the same time keeping health and safety at the forefront. To assist Duty Managers in meetings to help the team drive products which are currently a high stock hold. The Venue Stocks Assistant would also be championing the cleaning of bar systems across all venues.

Full training on brand values, products and service standards will be provided to any individual successful in this process.

**Essential**
- Extensive product knowledge of beers, spirits, cocktail menu development.
- Keen eye for organisation and health and safety compliance.
- Experience in working in a busy bar environment.
- Analytical point of view to maintain good stock levels in line with seasonal changes, menu changes and venue sales

**Desired**
- Experience in high volume brand equivalent venues
- Food safety and hygiene qualifications
- Personal License

**Showcasing your fantastic customer service skills will be the top priority and your role will include**:

- Assist the Duty Manager in accepting deliveries efficiently, safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Aid the Duty Manager in the training of other bartenders in wider responsibilities within the bar team.
- Identifies, reports, and escalates bar and cellar maintenance issues to the Duty Manager so they are quickly resolved to reduce impact on service.
- Handling administration and paperwork ensuring that all confidential documents are secured, and that any personal data is stored correctly as per company policy.
- Work alongside other senior team members and Duty Managers in organisation and cleanliness of the bar areas during operational hours to ensure the smooth service delivery for guests.
- Assist the Duty Managers in the training of newly appointed bartenders into the business to champion the guest experience and company brand standards.
- Work alongside other bartenders to champion the guest experience by role modelling our standards, ensuring that the steps of service are being consistently observed.
