NWT is looking to recruit an experienced hands-on, Stock Assistant to control our ever-growing warehouses. You will have experience in this field understanding all areas of stock management on a similar size and level to our clients.

You will have experience managing large and various stocks.

Your duties will involve:
Ø Taking responsibility for Quality Control of Good In. This means checking off deliveries and ensuring there are no damages or date issues with the stock.

Ø Monitoring warehouse storage space and allocating positions for stock. This involves arranging the deliveries in so that all stock is rotated and easy to access and find.

Ø Completing bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly stock takes to ensure that our systems reflect exactly what is in the warehouse. Ensuring any adjustments are correct, traceable, and reported to management.

Ø Maintaining the Health & Safety of the warehouses and ensuring that Safety Operations in place are adhered to by members of staff. This includes any company policies and national legislation. This means keeping the warehouse tidy, free of stock in incorrect places and levelling off all pallets.

Ø Briefing Warehouse Supervisors and Staff daily with regards to stock location, the days inbound deliveries and any needs for members of staff.

Ø Must have Driving Licence & Forklift Truck Licence

Ø Must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Ø Experienced handling stock

Ø Working in a busy environment

Ø Excellent communication skills

Ø Attention to detail

Ø Stock control experience

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
