Job Introduction
The Master Data coordinator, working very closely with the Business Processes Project Manager, is a key player in supporting the deployment of the Business Processes Strategy: thriving for excellence, driving a culture of harmonisation & continuous improvement, and adding value to the Business.

Master Data Management is a new function within the organisation and will be instrumental in the success of our transformation agenda; ensuring Master Data is recognised as a business asset and a critical enabler to advance BRUSH.

Initially, the role will focus on data processing including the review, cleansing, transformation, and load of data required for our IT Systems - with an immediate priority to support our ongoing ERP project.

The role will also be accountable for data integrity; acting as the custodian of Master Data governance, quality & standards.

Main Responsibilities
- Main point of contact for Master Data enquiries and sharing expertise
- Drive the data construction (extract/map-transform/load) activities for the ERP project; working closely with the Business and Implementation Manager to prepare and sign-off load templates
- Support housekeeping of existing ERP data including cleansing & archiving activities
- Drive the review, validation & resolution of data queries / issues, escalating as per governance process
- Control the quality, completeness & timing of data flowing into core business systems
- Establish Master Data Governance, create and maintain process documentation
- Drive internal audit activities to monitor, control, track and report process adherence
- Prepare and maintain slide decks, logs, registers and KPI trackers for progress reporting
- Establish best practice across the Business & educate users to the importance of high-quality data
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality and grow master data as an asset in accordance with the changing needs of the business
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, trust, and collaboration

Person Specification
- This person has the ability to understand the data and provide insights into key business drivers to enable high level decision support.
- Enjoys business partnering and helping people understand their Data.
- A team player, able to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally and able to engage at all levels in the organisations
- Be competent with SQL & MS Excel.
- Experience in analysing and manipulating data/spreadsheets
- Understanding of transformation and change projects; such as ERP implementation cycles
- Critical thinker
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence
- Take ownership of deliverables and drive effective decision making
