The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Science & Wellness, the Wellness Future Medical Lead will support the development of ventures within Wellness Futures - a digital innovation business unit with Holland & Barrett to drive H&B vision of impact on the wellness of 100m lives.

The role will work across several ventures but it's initial focus will be on supporting the development of Ivie. Ivie is our new testing and health prevention brand which includes at-home and venous testing to help us identify potential issues early and we offer the ‘so what' lifestyle support to make changes to drive improved quality of life. This role will lead our strategy on tests and test modalities, work with our Product Team to drive our ‘So what' proposition, and, have medical oversite of our testing services. The role will also be the public face of Ivie from both PR and industry relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Science & Wellness expertise**
- Medical expertise and clinical input to a variety of stakeholders and functions across the business
- **New Product Development**
- To develop and own our testing modalities roadmap - keeping oversight of opportunities globally
- To develop solutions for Ivie - support and advice after testing - working on the development of product, content, behaviour change programmes and services.
- **Business Development**
- To participate in external networking and events to create B2B and B2G opportunities for Ivie
- Management of external partnerships to drive pilot development and to identify future opportunities.
- **Marketing & Content**
- Responsible for creating & curating content that supports the range of products
- Work with various content teams to align clinical narrative for products
- Support corporate affairs/ PR campaigns - To be the external face of Ivie
- Review and advise on health-oriented marketing materials produced by other functions
- **Public Affairs**
- Work with the Public Affairs team and contribute towards the positioning of H&B as a thought leader and expert of health & wellbeing topics through press, events and communication campaigns
- **Services oversight**
- To support our Compliance lead in the management of external and internal service providers i.e phlebotomy partners, doctors reporting

**Location**: Flexible + Hybrid - the Wellness Futures team is based out of our London office and one day minimum is required there. There may also be travel to our Support Office base in Nuneaton as well as stores and other events.

The Person:

- Clinical professional with experience in clinical pathway design and ability to translate clinical pathways into a customer-centric commercial organisation. Active GMC registration and role will be flexible/4 days in order to support ongoing clinical practise.
- Preferable to have worked in digital health/ start-up setting.
- An understanding of the regulatory environment for health tech in helping shaping what we can and can't do.
- A strong influencer with great presentation skills who can quickly build trust and credibility
- Credible at C-level, brings strong functional expertise and a grounded, confident style
- Can thrive in an ambiguous and changing environment
- Collaborative style, a natural collaborator who seeks to engage, influence and work collaboratively with colleagues across H&B
- Integrity and strong professional conduct based on doing the right thing
- Chemistry, ability to build a strong and trusted working relationship with Director of Science and acts as a supportive, low ego, grounded, high integrity and trusted colleague
