National Accounts Sales Executive

You will join us on a **full-time, permanent** basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£34,054 - £42,568 per annum**, plus a great range of benefits.

As our **National Accounts Sales Executive**, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of National and International customer accounts, ensuring that sales, margin and profit targets are met. You'll work with both internal and external teamsacross sales, administration, logistics and marketing functions to ensure that customer needs are supported to the highest professional standard.
**Your responsibilities as our National Accounts Sales Executive will include**:
- Delivering sales and margin in line with budget
- Building trusting relationships with a wide network of customer stakeholders
- Using Category Management principles to develop authoritative business plans for each account, that deliver a vision for improved performance and growth
- Presenting product proposals to win new business and grow range share
- Developing promotional plans within cost and margin constraints to drive sales growth
- Liaising closely with internal departments to ensure that account activities are well communicated and properly planned in good time
- Forecasting sales monthly for each account to ensure good stock availability and prudent stock management internally
- Completing net contribution statements monthly for each account to show anticipated sales, margin and profitability versus budget
- Working with an Account Coordinator; ensuring that all Customer Selection Agreements are maintained with correct range and price information at all times
**What we are looking for in our National Accounts Sales Executive**:
- Previous sales experience
- A confident and outgoing individual with an interest in design and people
- The ability to develop trustworthy, collaborative and confident relationships at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Analytical skills; the ability to process and digest facts into meaningful conclusions
- A methodical approach; the ability to make and present a business case with confidence
- The ability to build and present commercially astute scenarios
- Good negotiation skills - someone who can listen well and be persuasive
- Someone who is comfortable inmanaging challenges and conflict
- The ability to work at pace and under pressure when required
- Competency with Microsoft Excel to a good standard
- Competency with Microsoft Powerpoint
- A full driving licence
- The ability to travel away from home from time to time, both nationally and internationally
