The University is looking to appoint two administrators, one to support the delivery of the UNITEplus project and one to support the delivery of the U Start project. UNITEplus is a collaborative project with Lancaster University to support local businesses wanting to develop their capacity. The UNITEplus project works with Lancashire businesses to provide a university graduate or placement student to assist on a specific project.

The successful applicants will work closely with the compliance and delivery teams to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate project administration in line with the funder regulations.

Recent project administrative experience in a busy office environment, experience of organising, inputting and extracting data from various sources as well as checking data integrity are essential. Utilising strong organisational skills, you will also have experience of undertaking effective administrative duties to meet the differing needs of stakeholders and colleagues. The successful applicants will have excellent knowledge of the SME sector and the ability to network and present the project at events.

The posts are part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the University of Central Lancashire. Knowledge of this funding stream and experience in an HE environment would be an advantage.

An awareness of confidentiality working with external SMEs and the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines are also core requirements for success in this role.
