**Westwood Recruitment** are currently looking for a **Logistics Co-Ordinator** to join our client in Sheffield on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a world renowned company where progression is encouraged

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Preparing export documentation, booking of transport and sending details of shipping information to customers
- Will be preparing the documents required to meet HMRC as well as customer requirements
- To advise customers of shipping details and to also be in liaison with freight forwarders to help arrange shipping to be delivered in a timely matter whilst also achieving cost effective shipping methods
- Be in communication with other departments within the company to ensure orders are on schedule and on time
- Producing and supplying customers with relevant documents before and after despatch date
- Have sound understanding of customer requirements
- To work to deadlines and timelines to ensure shipments are on schedule

**Job Requirements**
- Have good organisational and communication skills and attention to detail
- Have previous experience working within an import/export department is essential
- Have previous experience and knowledge of air freight security
- Be understanding of import and export entries / T1 forms
- Have prior knowledge of procedures and required documentation for export e.g. courier, road, air freight and sea freight
- Have knowledge of a manufacturing environment
