Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a Manufacturing business based in Sheffield who are looking to bring on board a Logistics Coordinator. This role requires a methodical and logístical thinker with the ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
The successful Logistics Coordinator will have experience of liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and assist with the smooth running of the product delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator:
- Prepare all quotes and sales related correspondence
- Manage product development and execution of numerous projects simultaneously in a fast
- paced environment
- Research and resolve queries related to account concern/issues
- Liaise with all internal stakeholders and directly with the customer
- Co-ordinate with Sales, Designers and U.K. Account Managers to ensure product is released in a timely manner to meet desired delivery dates
- Update all relevant departments
- Ensure that shipping, labelling and packaging requirements are fulfilled
- Responsible for the initiation of development, based on cad drawings/designs, through to sample approval before mass production
Key Skills expected of the Logistics Coordinator:
- IT Literate including all Microsoft packages including Excel
- Strong ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail and thorough approach to work
