Job Summary
To assist the Works team in their day-to-day activities, providing administration duties as and when required to all members of the Works team. Booking & coordination of the small works engineers & compiling O&M manuals for completed contracts/works.

Principal Responsibilities.
- Booking & coordination of works engineers.
- Compiling O&M manuals for completed contracts/works.
- Completing RAMS for works jobs as required.
- Produce commissioning/modification certification for completed contracts.
- Schedule delivery requirements for Project Manager (s)/Engineer (s)
- Complete contracts RTI’s within month end deadlines.
- Complete embedded proposals/quotations on Focal point from information provided by others.
- Assist Department with typing letters/ faxes and deal or assist with customer queries.
- Responsible for all general department filing and preparation of correspondence and correspondence to be posted.
- Help establish and develop best work practises and procedures to help develop internal systems as well as own role.
- Ensure that all Permit to Works for sites are organised and ready prior to starting work.
- Ensure the works engineers have the correct access and equipment on site or delivered to start for them to carry out their duties
- Support and complete necessary labour and finical forecasting on a weekly, monthly and Quarterly basis.
- Job closures and leads from works
- Manages Assets / Tools / Specialists Software and Test Kits
- Manages Works Engineers Training Matrix

- To be advised as part of the financial sign off / approvals matrix.

**Skills**:

- Must be able to work well on own initiative as well as being a strong team player.
- Must be self-motivated and have a methodical approach.
- Ability to communicate fluently with customers, suppliers and internal staff.
- Ability to resolve customer related issues.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet agreed deadlines.

Technical Knowledge:

- A general knowledge of the life safety systems industry or similar industry would be an advantage.

Standards
- Quality standards ISO19001.
- NSI Security basic understanding.
- FIA/BAFE basic understanding.

Health & Safety:

- Internal training “Office” H & S induction training as minimum.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
