Associate Product Owner, Supplier Effectiveness

The Supplier Effectiveness portfolio supports a diverse range of stakeholders and functions within Primark - including but not limited to Sustainability, Sourcing, Quality Assurance and Traceability. We have responsibility for delivering technology solutions to meet the requirements of a rapidly evolving legislative landscape and therefore must be comfortable working in an agile manner and respond to changing business needs

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Product Owner in defining and prioritizing product features and requirements for Products, based on customer feedback and market research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, design within Technology and key business stakeholders to ensure that the product is developed and delivered according to customer needs and business goals.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories & acceptance criteria.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs.
- Assist with product launch activities, such as coordinating beta testing and training end users within Primark.
- Monitor product metrics and KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to improve the product and drive business results.
- Work with the Product Owner to identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
- Support the Product Owner in maintaining a product roadmap and backlog.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product ownership or delivery, with a background in retail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodology and product development processes.
- Familiar with SaaS model - in Supplier Effectiveness we work almost exclusively with SaaS providers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a passionate and visionary technologist able to inspire others to challenge and disrupt the current reality to co-create a compelling technology-orientated future business by:

- Being able to scan potential technologies (established, emerging and emergent)
- Finding ways to translate that into business opportunities

- Excellent communication skills - relatability to non-technical business users and technical resources
- Excellent people leadership and influencing skills
- Possess a “Can Do” attitude.
