**Executive Assistant - Interconnectors - Solihull/ Warwick (with hybrid working)**
As our Executive Assistant, you will support the Managing Director, Interconnectors and the Executive team in leading and delivering an ambitious business agenda in a frequently changing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the Interconnectors portfolio.
You will support the Managing Director, Interconnectors and senior team in the discharge of their Business Areas, with personal responsibility for ensuring appropriate governance, structure of top meetings, follow up of decisions and the preparation of key events. This will involve attending key senior meetings alongside the Managing Director, Interconnectors and acting as their representative to drive attention and action in Interconnectors.
**What you'll be getting up to**:
- Team & agenda management
- Drive the forward agenda on a rolling 3/6/12 month basis, ensuring suitable coverage and timing of focus for key topics such as talent, succession etc
- Act as liaison between the management teams and Interconnectors Exec to ensure all key topics are captured and covered in a timely manner, maximising productivity and avoiding last minute meetings
- Support the Managing Director, Interconnectors with the delivery of key strategic projects along with external stakeholder mapping and communications
- Develop strong relationships across Interconnectors, representing visible point of contact for employees, and feeding back insight and understanding of the needs of the business to the Managing Director, Interconnectors.
- Provide delivery assurance and confidence across a range of Interconnectors projects and programmes.
**About You**:
- Comfortable operating at a strategic level and able to execute effectively and at pace
- Ability to successfully prioritise and handle multiple tasks and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to influence others (up to and including NGV Executive Committee members) - evidence of excellent relationship building ability across a wide variety of audiences and situations
- Ability to bring creative and innovative approaches to the business, including engagement & communication
- Demonstrates a sound level of commercial acumen to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrable passion and commitment to excellence in continuous improvement and quality, strong results orientated
- The highest standard of personal and professional integrity
