We are recruiting a Quality Administrator and although full training is given, experience in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) would also be an advantage. The role involves assisting in the management of the Company's QMS.

You must have great attention to detail, be reliable, enthusiastic, flexible and a strong team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Maximum of 45-minute commute from Saffron Walden.

**Role Objectives**
- Manage, maintain, administer and support the general upkeep of the QMS.
- Manage tracking systems and registers to ensure that the QMS is in a controlled state and is compliant with policies, SOPs, best practices, and requirements of relevant standards.
- Collate information for customer requests, also external and internal audits.
- Assist with the timely processing of CAPA investigations and associated documentation.
- Support the day-to-day management of the calibration system, so as to ensure that all calibrated equipment is tracked and recalibrated in a timely manner. This includes organising equipment calibration and on-site contractor visits.
- Management of purchase orders for QA related tasks/services where appropriate using SAP.
- Work under the guidance of the Quality Engineer to support the process of equipment validation as required for new equipment, as well as revalidation of existing equipment, in areas such as the Production department.
- General administrative duties in the department.

**Knowledge and experience**

**Essential**
- Ability to work with critical attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Experience with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook).
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices to meet compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Advantageous**
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.
- Experience in maintaining a Quality Management System.
- Previous Quality Assurance or audit experience.
- Experience using SAP.

**Person Specification**
- Self-starter with strong motivational skills.
- Conscientious attitude with the ability to work under pressure, to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Planning and organisational skill.
