Head of Sales and events is responsible for delivering excellent service to clients, both internal and external throughout their time prior and during their events taking place within our Venues, whilst delivering great attention to detail and quality of service.

Working here feels pretty unique and our events and sales team are a vital ingredient Therefore, we’re looking for someone who strives for the best, is guest focused, and exudes passion and enthusiasm.

**ABOUT THE ROLE.**
- You'll be responsible for creating strong relationships and partnerships.
- You'll need to be the life of the party and be able to build strong relationships.
- This isn't going to be a 9-5 role. The life of the party needs to be at the parties at the end of the day
- You'll be required to work evenings and weekends to match the venues operational hours.
- You'll need to be driven to achieve an epic sales target.
- Pro-actively drive awareness of the Venues to the corporate market
- Target local businesses through social media, networking and business development
- Inspire and motivate your team, encouraging them to excel in securing bookings and maximising these key revenue streams
- Be imaginative, identify new business and be aware of local developments and competitors
- Play a key role in designing and delivering the sales activity plan
- A good eye for detail, ensuring contracts and quotes are issued correctly
- Ability to understand guests needs, conduct show arounds and promote all the services we have to offer
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen appropriate to win new business, encourage repeat customers and achieve targets
- A confident, proactive sales professional who can hit the ground running
- Experience of selling unique venues is preferred
- You’ll be a proven leader, that’s managed and lead event teams
- Have the experience and confidence in planning and delivering large events
- Target driven with strong financial acumen who can meet the departmental revenue and conversion objectives
- Comfortable in a client facing role with experience of face-to-face sales and networking
- Experience in management of event P&L accounts

**About you**

Ideally you have already gained work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel/ leisure environment. You ideally are:

- Passionate about creating memorable events for your customers
- Motivated to change and grow your business
- Determined to meet your goals and targets
- Great communication skills so you can chat to the team and of course our guests providing a great welcome.
- Demonstrate your passion for the hospitality industry.
- Excellent people skills - work well in a team and to be able to manage the team
- Work well under pressure at times and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bring a sense of fun to your role - you build relationships with our guests, engage in conversation and are passionate.

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
