Weekend Kitchen Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our food preparation processes.
**Duties**:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, peeling fruits, and preparing ingredients
- Help with cooking and baking tasks as directed by the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Assist in meal services
- Support the kitchen staff in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred/ not essential as training will be given
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £8.00-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
