Our newly opened, spectacular care home in Chesterfield is currently seeking **Kitchen Assistants **to join us on this exciting new journey. Goldwell Manor is a purpose-built home, with the needs of the residents being the inspiration. With a pub for residents, private dining areas and landscaped gardens, this is set to be a glamourous, new home offering residential and specialist dementia support.

With the desire to always improve and develop their staff skillset, you will be encouraged to progress and develop skills, qualifications and training with the support of the company, so no experience is required

**What you will receive as a Kitchen Assistant;**
- **£11.51 per hour**:

- **Part-time, permanent **contract
- **24.5 hours **per week on a 6-weekly rolling rota
- **7.5 hour shifts, **10am-5.30pm, 3 on 3 off
- Based in **Chesterfield,** **S40 4AA**

**What you will be doing as a Kitchen Assistant;**
- Assisting and supporting the cook in the preparation of varied, nutritious and delicious meals for the residents
- Bring fresh, new ideas whilst assisting the team to create menus, plate meals and arrange food.
- Ensure the general cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen area, equipment and appliances
- Assisting with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
- Monitoring stock rotation, complying with company policies and procedures following all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines

**What you will need to be successful as a Kitchen Assistant;**
- Fantastic communication and organisation skills
- Basic food hygiene certificate
- Ability to manage workload, and time and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Understanding of COSHH & a commitment to infection and prevention control
- Knowledge of basic food preparation, stock control and rotation
