Operations Support Coordinator

**Gi Group are recruiting for an Operations Support Coordinator based in Coventry**
You would be working for a leading manufacturer of performance brake and clutch systems for road and race cars. Our client has achieved more international sporting success than any of its rivals, establishing itself as a key supplier at all levels of international motorsport formulae. In 2021 alone, they have supplied their products to over 30 champions across the entire spectrum of the motorsport world
- **_Working pattern_**
Your working pattern would be Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1645 & Friday 0800 - 1500
- **_Salary_**
Up to £34,000
- **_Type of Employment_**
Temp - Perm
- Your role as an Operations Support Coordinator would be to support coordinate operations activities, projects, and KPIs. You need to be confident to support wherever is needed to solve issues as well as working to adhoc administrative requirements. Please see below for further duties.
- **_Tracking KPIs and reporting them (Daily and Monthly):_**
- Developing metrics and chasing managers for actions to resolve these issues
- Presenting these to the Head of operations
**_ Support the Head of Operations on topics like:_**
- Headcount management
- Overtime management and tracking
- Training and development
- Analysis for Manufacturing
- Regulatory compliance topics - Ensuring compliance to Working time directive for Manufacturing, creating and maintaining a regulatory calendar
- Facilitating team meetings reviewing action plans and follow up
**_ Specific project support to the Head of Operations:_**
- Represent or support operational areas in project meetings where required
- Active problem solving for issues in any operational areas when requested
- Support change management ideas working with the team management
- Support for larger projects, data gathering and analysis of data
- Report out and create a high-level review of operational performance to assess risks
- Deputising for the Head of operations in meetings where required and reporting back required actions to Head of Operations
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels verbal and written
- Diligent with attention to detail
- Proven experience in a operational environment
- Proven experience in using all Microsoft Applications specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Methodical and persistent approach to problem solving
- Efficient time management and workload prioritisation skills with a high degree of self-motivation and independence**Manufacturing & Production**:
