**Role Responsibilities**:

- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers.
- Keep an eye out for needed updates.
- Ensure network security and connectivity.
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
- Resolve problems reported by end user.
- Specify system requirements and design solutions.
- A good understanding of cloud technologies and should be able to analyse the technical requirements and translate those into suitable solutions.
- Experience of defining and creating new solutions.
- Support existing cloud infrastructure.
- Integrate new services and features.
- Collaborate with other teams of engineers, developers, and architects across the project.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience in a Systems Administrator role.
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Excellent knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure.
- Experience in EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB and CloudFormation.
- Ability to manage migration requirements and bridge gaps.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Swansea, SA7 9FG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
