Based in Hexham, they are a leader in their industry and are looking for someone to join their Finance team as a Billing and Credit Control Administrator.

You don't need to have previous Finance experience for this opportunity, just as long as you are a competent Administrator, quick learner and a strong team player.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for handling accounts receivable queries, requesting payment from customers, maintaining cash receipt banking, reconciling key customer accounts, collating and processing sales promotional dataas well as assisting with daily billing process and day-to-day duties within the department.

Main Duties include:

- Collate and input data using accounting software - perform checks and investigations to resolve queries
- Resolve discrepancies between sales orders and invoices and respond to customer enquiries
- Complete daily banking transactions and reconciliations
- Credit control - monitor client accounts and expedite payments as necessary for both UK and Export customers
- Requesting and posting customer credit/debit notes
- Ensure Credit limits and Payment terms to customers are in line with company policy
- Complete customer fulfilling and billing with validation to proof of delivery
- Resolve discrepancies between sales orders and invoices and respond to customer enquiries with Logistics Team
- Support finance function with month end tasks where required
- Work in partnership with other departments to support wider business goals and objectives
- Support business & process improvement projects where necessary
