Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for this omni channel retail business. The business has over 100 stores and strong presence online and also via their members club.

In this Payroll Lead position you will manage a team of payroll assistants to deal with all aspects of payroll from start to finish.

In this Payroll Lead position, you will be
- Fully accountable of payroll processing and reconciliation of the head office team.
- Calculating overtime, issuing tax forms, managing maternity/sickness, ensuring payment is made on time and distribution of payslips
- Dealing with payroll queries, manual cheques, over and under payments
- Liaise with Management Accounts to agree and reconcile HMRC payments.
- Run 4 weekly payroll journals and period reports in line with agreed Finance deadlines
- Responsibility for processing all BACS payments.
- Oversee the processing of all bonus payments in line with agreed rules and targets.

The requirements of thisPayroll Lead position -- 4 years + as a Payroll Specialist, Lead or Manager
- Experience of leading a small team
- Has experienced with dealing with perm, payroll staff
- Dealing with complex payroll data that may change monthly
- Stong administrative skills
- Excellent Microsoft skillset including Excel
- Strong communication experience
