**Your new role**
A great opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Policy Monitoring Officer (CPMO) to join the Integrated Transport and Fleet Solutions Team on a full time and fixed term contract basis (1 year). This role is based within a friendly team environment and thecontract is offered on flexible and hybrid basis.
As a CPMO, you will be working on a range of transport related contracts. The role is a gatekeeping role to ensure that contractual compliance is being met by various suppliers, ensure safe transport is being provided and help in investigating any safeguardingincidents/concerns. You will be responsible for, and co-ordinate the timely and accurate production of all regulatory and statistical returns/reports. You will need to provide and analyse, as required, benchmarking information and attend relevant meetingsgiving details of your findings and any remedial works required. You will liaise with other stakeholders such as schools, parents and other departments. You will ensure that all feedback / correspondence is responded to within timescales and that learningfrom feedback is incorporated into organisational reviews.
You will provide technical and contractual support and undertake a range of duties as required using various computer systems / IT packages. You will utilize computer systems/IT packages to store regulatory information.
You will be expected to attend various locations in the borough and outside to various locations to carry out compliance inspections and attend meetings and training.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you need to will need to have attention to detail and good organisational and interpersonal skills. You need to be able to work on your own initiative and be proficient in the use of various Microsoft packages especially Excel.You will need to be able to communicate effectively across all levels and be able to work to deadlines, establish good relationships with clients and other stakeholders and be responsible for accurate data collected to ensure contract and regulatory compliance.Experience of working with contractors/suppliers will be essential for this role.
You need to be able to work well as part of a team along with a positive and flexible 'can-do' approach to your work/duties. You should be able to work with a high degree of accuracy, flexibility and be able to manage your workload to achieve agreed targets.Previous experience of working in a fast-paced team and ability to handle a multitude of tasks would be advantageous. Project management experience will be highly desirable for this role but not essential.
Full and clean driving license as well as access to own vehicle will be desirable but not essential
